Great pizza! Good place to go to watch sports.

Every neighborhood deserves an excellent pizzeria, and Hyde Park is no different. Fortunately, just where you’d hope it would be, sits North End Pizza. This doesn’t just check the boxes, friend; it offers MANY fine .. er, offerings. Most often a single or with just one other soul, I’ll pony up to the rock-solid horseshoe bar, perhaps Boise’s only such bar? Well, it’s expertly tended, that’s for sure. A Boise pizza bar is going to have a hecuva beer selection if it’s up to our snuff.. Bingo! NEP nails so many details, that is very little wonder that you will see, when walking by, through its windows, a large crowd of diners, families, young couples, misc. groups SMILING. Having perhaps, the TIME OF THEIR LIVES. Well, done NEP.. Well done. Disclaimer: the author does NOT want his pizza well-done. He orders it al dente. P.S. A colleague, apparently aiming to temper my enthusiasm for NEP ‘ZA .. did inform me that the restaurant was part of a combination, y’know one of those deals where it’s like “Dontcha know? Dontcha get it? It’s the SAME OWNERS as such and such. They also run X, Y, Z... Soooo,,, change your mind, Mr. Small Biz? I bet you regret INCLUDING THEM IN YOUR WILL for heaven’s sake?” And my response, after some reflection, after an additional bite (or two or three) did reply: "not even a tiny bit BUD!" #dontRainOnMyParade

The pizza was amazing. Was exactly what I was looking for, a pizza that wasn't a fast food pizza like dominos or other chains, but had a homemade flavor and texture.

Very good pizza and salads. The beer selection is also good. We had a parilla pizza with sun dried instead of fresh tomatoes. This pizza was up there with flying pie for gourmet pizza. I will need to try a few more pizzas before I can say it is as good though. One thing I would like to see is a gourmet cheese, like the "fromage". Service was good as well.

I have been coming here for years and always leave happier than when I arrived. Their pizza is some of the best in Boise and there’s a lot of fun, creative options to pick from. The staff, from bartenders to servers, are all very friendly and even when they’re busy the food is always ready within a reasonable amount of time and is always worth the trip in.

Nice place (see video), good prices (see pic), food was yummy, dough was crunchy.

We were visiting Boise and this place was recommended by family. The atmosphere was great. The pizza was even better. We had an excellent waiter that added to our positive experience.

Great pizza. I'm not a traditional pepperoni pizza person. I like a variety of toppings and a good crust. NEP does great on both. They slice their toppings thick and put plenty on the pizza and the crust is perfect. Also great service and atmosphere.
